That custom Trigger guard is actually the mag release on the real ones. You can release the mag with your finger still on the trigger using your next finger to push it down. Works great on real 10/22s

Thanks Milo, W0Lf is correct that is not the trigger guard its the RA Tech tactical magazine release, its extended so you can make quicker mag changes.
The barrel is the fluted version barrel you get in the RA Tech sniper kit, its a little bit longer than the stock one as it comes with an extended inner barrel.

Ok- here's my HK 417 which I'm converting to DMR. Happy with the externals now - just a 2-6x32 scope (may swop the low for high mounts),magpul clone rail covers, genuine gripod and madbull silencer. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1351265515.386195.jpg

For internals i'm planning on a madbull m130 spring and longer tightbore inner barrel, guarder clear hop rubber and a plug and play burst wizard to lock it to semi.

Here's my take on the L129A1. Obviously not completely identical, but about as close as you can get with airsoft I think
The barrel was masterfully machined to real spec length by RMcommando1984!
