Now that you mention it... it does look like an M4 with a Leupold CQBSS and Daniel Defense 12.0' rail. Interesting choice for a rifle which has a max effective range of 400m (out the box - although he might have beefed up the barrel, bolt, bolt carrier etc...).

It's definitely the LaRue 12" RIS... it has the correct QD sling point by the delta ring that the Daniel Defence doesn't.

I think the cut outs are in the right place for the standard front sight. Could be wrong though!

Like Delta says, the cut-out is probably for the front sight post of a carbine-length gas system - like Daniel Defence's RIS II FSP.

Just did some online research. Its a MRE hand guard as seen on this G&P Rifle.

i think personally you should get yourself a rear BUIS , possibly a kill flash thingy for your scope ( to cut out the glare ) but other than that looks good .where did you get the flash hider from mate ?
