Re: Wearing British Army insignia in airsoft?
Hi I don't know if this is just me as an ex service man ... But if you going to wear the insignia atleast know what they mean mean ... Even if it is raf reg or rlc .. I have seen loads if people wearing flashes and i have asked if they knew what it ment and 9 times out of 10 they dont Other than that I don't have an issue Part from people wearing 22 wings or comando dagger because they are earned .. Unless you are doing re-inactment
That's just my thoughts though

I dont tend to care, unless they are wearing the kit and spinning dits.
My bro is currently serving (Army) and he loves his airsoft when he plays. He even went to one of the weekenders and left early to get to Brize for deployment out to Iraq II. He wears his kit, but only because he is to tight to buy different stuff.
My kit? I wear anything really and don't wear any rank or insignia. However when I can find a set of OD Dolphins they will be on my admin panel.
I've got a set, velcro ones

Sadly Louis, I think the random colour thread is elsewhere.
This one is about the insignia people choose to wear at airsoft events.
I did write a few lines, damn this app!
I'm ex-Navy and I don't see a problem with players wearing service insignia. However, I know a few Marines who would punch the faces of anyone who wore the green beret/commando insignia without earning it as it is bloody hard to achieve! I personally see it as a way of supporting the boys and girls out fighting for us
Louis.

Re: Wearing British Army insignia in airsoft?
I took all the Royal Marines Commando badges off my DPM jacket when I got it. Personally not bothered enough about having them, especially if it might cause someone to get funny with me. If other people want to wear them it's their choice at the end of the day, it just isn't for me.
