im building my first hi capa 5.1

parts bought and awaiting delivery bfore fettling and fitting

4x mag shims
2x 9ball gas routers
1x brazos custom slide
1x 140% spring set
1x TM 5.1 hicapa dual stainless
1x pdi 6.01 tightbore!

i cant wait to get it put together.

last thing to buy is a holster.

I fancy the tanio koba tactical grips but that's something that can be decided on at a later date.
Is there a hi capa 5.1 threaded barrel readily available?

There is indeed, but I'd avoid. I had nothin but trouble with mine!

The tk grips are alright, but make the pistol look very top heavy

Hey guys I've just about finished my 5.1 build, it's all together running well although sometimes when I cock the pistol the hammer fires on the forward stroke, is this a common fault? I'm guessing I've put something back in wrong

The set of "metal fingers" (I've forgotten the name) which look like a mashed up fork that sit in the back of the pistol grip, the middle one needs to be on top of the small metal nub it touches on the top. Sometimes this "finger" can work its way under the nub... just make sure its in place correctly and it should work.

I actually really like it! It's nice to see a scope on a pistol as i despise Red dots on pistols and see far too many of them around; Nice job!
