Re: ARU Police loadout
Afternoon all,
How have, the few of you who have, written 'POLICE' on the front of your helmets? Is it spray painted on, or using some form of magical sticky paper?

Re: ARU Police loadout
1. Open MS Word
2. Select "stencil" font
3. write "POLICE" in a suitable font size
4. Cut out stencil
5. Spraypaint.
Job Done.

Re: ARU Police loadout
Maybe it's just my spraypainting skills, but it didn't come out quite as hoped... Could velcroing police patches on be more suitable anyway, for transport to and from games etc?

Re: ARU Police loadout
You can also buy them off the bay. They have the letters printed in white on clear plastic. It's dead easy.

Re: ARU Police loadout
I meant 'wear' by the way :-)
My combats are probably the only part of my uniform I wouldnt wear, We have the nice new black shirts but dodgy traditional combats!

Re: ARU Police loadout
not a chance - I never go to airsoft in my uniform.
Got a spare set of the old ARV blues which i've used a couple of times, more for weekenders than anything else though.

Re: ARU Police loadout
Well on the way to finishing my loadout now.
Applied some stickers, kindly donated by MisterX, and completed my helmet.
(Admittedly it's a MICH 2000, so not quite accurate, but looks the part.)

And two 'after' photos:

Re: ARU Police loadout
Speeds cuffs - Manodnock (ASP etc) and spray - that'll complete any ARU loadout!
Unfortunately one is a section 5 firearm and the other is a prohibited weapon :/
